North and East Pastors' Conference 2018

When:
Monday, April 30, 2018 - 04:00 pm EDT to Tuesday, May 1, 2018 - 04:00 pm EDT
Where:

Doubletree by Hilton Bay City – Riverfront

Event Description:

Our secular culture today has many similarities with that of ancient Corinth. How does Paul's message of justification by grace and the cross of Christ from his letters to the Corinthian congregation speak to our culture today? What insights does it give us?

Goals & Objectives

The North & East Pastors' Conference is conducted for the spiritual and professional growth of its members.

  • It shall provide means for its members to relate together on a regular basis.
  • Matters pertaining to Christian doctrine and practice, to professional problems, to the proper conduct in office, to private study, to the work of the District and Synod, or to any other professional matter shall receive due attention.
  • The members are to aim to cultivate positive relationships, to be mutually helpful in every way possible, and to encourage, instruct, and admonish one another in a spirit of sincerity and Christian love.
  • The conference may adopt and submit overtures to the Convention of the Michigan District.

Compassion Ministry

In support of Michigan District's “Great Compassion Ministry,” The North & East Pastors’ Conference will support Franklin Avenue Mission, www.franklinavemission.org.  The mission is in need of diapers sizes 4 - 6 and wipes. Please bring one or more of these items with you to the conference, or make a greater difference for the children in the region and post at your church and bring a whole car load of donations.
